Company History
Founded in 1863 as a hardware wholesaler in New York by J. Ashton and John W. Greene, Greene, Tweed & Co. evolved into a leading manufacturer of high-performance sealing solutions for extreme environments. After starting, the company transitioned to manufacturing in 1891, moved to Kulpsville, PA, in 1945, and now serves the aerospace, defense, and semiconductor industries.

Time Off
Greene Tweed offers PTO ranging from 10-20 days annually, based upon each role’s job band. PTO days do not rollover as employees are encouraged to take time to rest and recharge often throughout the year. Additionally, Greene Tweed employees are entitled to 11 paid holidays each calendar year which includes a winter closure.
401k
Greene Tweed matches 100% of the first 6% an employee contributes to their 401k plan. Employees must contribute a minimum of 6% to receive the full company match. Employees are eligible to begin contributing and receive the corresponding employer matching on day one of full-time employment.
Learning & Development
Greene Tweed invests heavily in its employees, and opportunities for career growth are highly encouraged. Greene Tweed also offers an Educational Assistance Program that provides reimbursement up to 10,000/year for eligible educational expenses. Please note that classes must be offered through an accredited institution, and the coursework must improve current job skills and/or prepare the employee to assume greater responsibilities within the organization.
