91E Allied Trade Specialist
Job Overview:
As an Allied Trade Specialist, youÕll supervise the fabrication,repair, and modification of metallic and nonmetallic parts to ensure theArmyÕs equipment is operating reliably. YouÕll operate lathes, drillingpresses, grinders, welding machines, and other machine shop equipmentwhile also serving as a welder. You will train to select the materials,tools, and equipment to do the job, and learn how to operate fabricationmachines.
Requirements
- A U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with a valid GreenCard
- 17 to 34 Years Old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Meet Tattoo Guidelines
- No Major Law Violations
- No Medical Concerns
Testing & Certifications
- 143 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available
- 10 weeks of Basic Training
- 19 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
- 98 ASVAB Score: General Maintenance (GM)
- 88 ASVAB Score: General Maintenance (GM)
- 95 ASVAB Score: General Technical (GT)
