PVC Fabricator Helper

SUMMARY:Responsible for assisting with the manufacturing of fencing products, including gates and wood fence panels. This team member will also assist with shipping yard activities, including loading and unloading trucks and pulling orders.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Someone who can set their own pace, work in a team environment, and build productive relationships by solving problems. Experience in the fence industry is a plus but we are willing to train someone with relatable skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• Assist operator with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
• Help measure, cut, and shape PVC pipes, sheets, and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Aid in the assembly of PVC components through welding, gluing, or fastening, ensuring structural integrity.
• Assist with the operation and maintenance of fabrication equipment, such as heat guns, saws, and bending machines
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and design specifications.
• Help with necessary repairs or adjustments to fabricated products.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work area, following all workplace safety guidelines.
• Keep accurate records of production, materials used, and work progress.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve fabrication challenges.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in PVC fabrication or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in Custom Fabrication or a related field is preferred
• Proficiency with PVC fabrication e quipment such as CNC routers, hand tools, power tools, , saws, and drills
• Knowledge of parts and kit assembling process preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Commitment to workplace safety and following company policies

SCHEDULE:

• Monday - Friday, weekends as needed

WORK LOCATION: In person; Birmingham, AL

***Pre-employment drug test and physical must be completed upon hire.

Salary/Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
