CNC Machinist – Precision Manufacturing

Pay: $24–30/hr DOE | Temp‑to‑Hire
Location: Mead, CO

Available Shifts

Day Shift
Monday–Friday | 7:00am–4:00pm
40 hours per week

Weekend Shift
Friday–Sunday | 5:30am–5:30pm
Work 36 hours, paid for 40!

This is a hands‑on CNC role in a well‑run precision machining shop with consistent production work and steady schedules. You'll be on the floor running CNC equipment, supporting setups, inspecting parts, and helping keep jobs moving efficiently. The environment is clean, safety‑focused, and built for machinists who care about quality and accountability.

This position works well for a CNC Machinist or experienced CNC Operator who wants reliable hours, solid pay, and long‑term potential.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate CNC machines and assist with basic setups and job preparation
• Build tools, support fixturing, prep materials, and set work and tool offsets
• Load and unload parts, raw materials, and equipment
• Perform light assembly work as needed
• Inspect parts and verify quality using precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot routine machining or production issues and escalate when needed
• Communicate with supervisors and programmers on job status
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and keep work areas organized
• Accurately document measurements and production data

What They're Looking For

• 2+ years of CNC machining or CNC operator experience
• Aerospace machining experience is a plus, not required
• General machine shop background
• Comfortable with CNC equipment, shop tools, and measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to handle physical, hands‑on work in a production environment
