- Lead prototype development and production
- 5-axis programming
- Work with engineers on custom projects
- Program and operate CNC machines for complex parts
- Program complex parts using provided CAD/CAM software
- Inspection using manual gauges and instruments
- Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings
- Monitor an inspect the part throughout the machining process
- Observe all company quality and safety procedures
- Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issues
- Participates in Lean manufacturing events
- Team Lead(Optional): Oversee team of machinist, provide technical direction, and manage projects
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree in a relevant field or (5+) years of experience
- Expertise in CNC programming, 5-axis machining
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical specifications
- Expertise in working with exotic materials and tight tolerances
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
- Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment
- Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
- Great communication skills
- Team Lead(Optional): Experience mentoring or supervision junior staff, leadership skill, experience managing projects or teams of varying skill level.
